A fun and creative way to improve your rhythmic accuracy, independence, and balance while adding to your soloing arsenal is soloing over a foot ostinato. For this demonstration I’m going to use the Bossa Nova foot pattern as the ostinato. Check out this video for a simple but effective way to conquer it in less than 15 minutes a day.
